Practicing Yoga together creates community. If we've ever needed to come together and practice it is now. The last year has been difficult for many. Yoga has a way of creating bonds between the students and oneself. Learning to embrace your body, mind & spirit is one of the greatest health enhancing tools we can use.
Taking the time to breathe, move and be present for our class and each other creates power and positive changes to our mind, helps create strength in the body and together we can create an atmosphere of love, hope, faith, healing and peace.
We realize that some are ready to jump right into class and others have never practiced Yoga before. Whatever your story is, please know that Yoga isn't a competition. It mirrors life in many ways, day by day, hour by hour, with each class - we get stronger and more resilient, focused and bendable - and realize that our life is a journey and not a race.

If there was ever a time that we needed to be participating in programs that help build immunity, settle the mind, strengthen the body and calm the spirit it is NOW. It’s time to come together again and practice Yoga which helps bring balance to the body, ease the emotions of fear and anxiety and restore joy and laughter to our lives that comes from sharing space and a smile with others during our practice

Get Flexy Yoga classes bring to every student strength & ease through the physical practice of Yoga and by providing an uplifting & safe environment to bring peace, calm and rest in the mind. No chanting, incense, or mystical worship in our practice at Get Flexy. We bring to you the beauty and simplicity of Yoga - acknowledging our breath and focused movements which invite peace, energy & focus to the body, mind & spirit. Our number one goal is to create a community of students who want to grow, learn, love and heal together.
WHO CAN DO YOGA?
EVERYBODY & ANY BODY CAN AND SHOULD DO YOGA! There is much scientific research to back up all the different benefits of a consistent yoga practice. It’s important to note that all bodies are different and that the same pose may look and feel different for each person in class. No two people are alike, so of course no yoga pose will be the same for everyone either. We love helping you figure out how to customize your yoga poses and tailoring it to fit your needs.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO CLASS?
Bring a Yoga Mat, water bottle and a small towel for sweat.

Parking is convenient as we may use the spots for Designer Bodyworks Gym. Please be mindful to not block any parking spots in front of the drop off location for Salvation Army or Wayne County Transportation.
IS THERE CLASS ETIQUETTE I SHOULD KNOW ABOUT?
